There are numerous causes at this time that demand our attention, but there is only one that affects us all so acutely, and that is The Climate Crisis. What is happening on our planet will not shy away from impacting every culture, plant, animal, and environment.
We all contribute to the effects of climate change, blindly impacting people, cultures, and environments on the other side of the world by the residue of our life styles. So what we decide from now on a daily basis is critical to what happens in shaping and minimising the extreme impacts we will face.
As artists I feel we need to do more with our voices to inform people of what we face at this time on our Home we call Earth. Black artists can do more, and that starts with myself, as we come from a culture steeped in the wisdom that is needed at this time along with all those indigenous communities that are the custodians of the eco systems that are keeping us alive.
