EXPRESSIVE DRAWING WITH KOFI

A day of drawing alongside Kofi in his studio
These sessions will encourage you to be more experimental but leaning on the fundamentals to constructing the head and figure. Kofi will work with your strength and guide you to develop your own style, focusing on your unique way of mark-making, creating expressive drawings that capture not only the likeness but the spirit of your subject.
Throughout each day, Kofi will assist you as you work through your own drawing process helping to strengthen your observational skills and improve your personal mark making.
Paper and pencils will be provided, but please also bring your own drawing materials that are familiar to you to work with.

FIGURATIVE NARRATIVE PAINTING WITH KOFI

A day of creating alongside Kofi in his studio
What stories do you want to tell through your paintings?
​
Learn to play with figures and objects in your paintings, constructing the narrative intentionally through your composition to convey ideas and themes to the viewer.
Play with colour to create mood, conversation and tension between each figure using size, colour and placement to produce interesting, inspiring paintings.
