Narrative Works
Once you place two figures in a space there is a relationship between them and a tension formed by the gestures of the figures. Colour translates the atmosphere, tone grants you the depth, and all play their part in conveying the narrative.
The horizontal line divides the space and splits time conveying the present/past; whilst the vertical connects time joining the present and past, and possible future. With several horizontal lines you can create a multiplicity of dimensions to reality.
With these tools I play to present hidden stories and the curiosities I find around me, and as they expand in my imagination I am urged to paint. I use painting as a process and maybe I am granted answers to the many questions that I want answered.
